Musarter

MUSARTER is a sound which isolates the vibrations of a moment. It is influenced by a youth spent in San Diego,CA beach culture and refined by time spent in the eclectic town of Athens, GA. MUSARTER is a reflection of experience, wide musical interests and available sonic resources.

The songs have always existed. They were recorded at the opportune time to communicate without the confinement of genre or the restriction of monetary necessity. Noise is never created in a vacuum, alternatively, it is informed and made possible by musicians of past, present and future.

The album HINDSIGHT is the capture of thoughts, feelings and experiences of 2020. The six songs started as GarageBand experiments in hospital break rooms and nocturnal sojourns preparing for 12 hour night-shifts as a registered nurse during the Pandemic. Themes explored include isolation/anxiety, subjective truth, resolve in the face of obstacles and new perspectives. Over the course of a year the sounds manifested as a complete album.
